WHAT TO EXPECT
At your initial visit, you will meet with a medical provider , who will assess your biometrics. This includes your body mass index , body fat percentage and body measurements . Blood work is also essential in order to make sure there isn’t a medical condition causing your weight gain , or inhibiting your weight loss ! We can also asses hormones !
The medical provider will also review and discuss your medical history to make sure there are zero contraindications for your customized medically managed weight loss plan. The provider will go over your blood work results one week after your initial consultation. You and your medical provider will establish a GOAL WEIGHT .
We will start you on your weight loss journey on the same day !
Weekly follow up visits are scheduled to monitor your progress , and make proper adjustments if needed .
We provide all of our patients with nutritional counseling , and handouts on foods to avoid and foods to eat, along with the calories per day permitted .
We also offer eating out tips with suggestions on menu items in Laredo restaurants , to make your customized food plan easier to follow .
We offer prescribed (IN HOUSE EKG REQUIRED ) , and natural appetite suppressants too!
